I've noticed a general pattern. When entering the US, the customs official wants to know when you'll be leaving. When entering Canada, the customs official wants to know if there's anything in that bag there on which customs fees could be levied. In light of the fact that the US wants you to leave and Canada wants your money, I find it odd that the on-line immigration fee site for Canadian Immigration has been down the entire morning. C'mon, 'peeps! I know you want my money.
