Last year I went to workshops at the career centre with titles like: "Compiling Your Dossier," "You and Your Teaching Dossier," "CVs and Cover Letters for Academic Positions."

Last night I signed up for two workshops at the career centre next week. The titles? "Career Centre Orienation for Graduate Students" and more tellingly, "Non-Academic Jobs for Graduate Students."

Stick a fork in my academic career! It's done.
