It's Not Just Me

I'm happy that I'm not the only one driven bonkers by people watering their driveways. As I walk to campus in the morning, I always pass one or two old men (and an occasional old woman) who is out cleaning the driveway with a hose or, better yet, cleaning the gutter in front of the house with a hose, when that water could be better used for things like drinking and bathing. I wonder if they missed school that day that their class learned how to use brooms and dust pans or hot to bend over to pick up that gum wrapper on the ground. Wasting water to wash it under your neighbor's car does nothing but make me consider wrapping that hose around your neck and pulling tight on both ends as I watch you.
