I'm fascinated by literary history and reception. I am, after all, writing an entire dissertation on the misreadings of two Romantic poets (Mácha was the first Surrealist! Lermontov a good Soviet citizen!). In a similar vein as these anachronistic interpretations, it appears that there will be a brand spanking new (and naughty) Charlotte Brontë with whom to contend.
