Lysenko, the poster boy for bad science under Stalin, is back in the news. This time in connection with the Bush administration. Fazil Iskander's novel The Goatibex Constellation is a brilliant satire on Lysenko's science. It's currently out of print, but if you come across it used, it's well worth the money. (via Boing Boing)
