Things I Have Learnt Here. So Far.
1. I am no longer an American. Proof of this is my accent, which everyone loves, and my tendency to be big-city pushy, especially when jay-walking. People do not love this.
2. Dorms are confusing places that require large pockets. I have a key, half a dozen passwords, and accounts for everything from food to internet.
3. Andy Richter's dad is a Slavist. He's teaching me pronunciation this summer.
4. All young men love Tarkovskii for all the wrong reasons.
5. Sometimes the gap in maturity between a twenty-two year old and a twenty-nine year old is painful.
6. The freshman fifteen exists because the only fresh food many freshman are exposed to in university cafeterias is iceberg lettuce.
