Grrrrrr...

It is going to take a well-nigh miraculous lecture on Thursday to make me even abstractly appreciate today's film. It disappointed me the first time and enraged me this time. "Papka! Papka! Papochka!" Supposedly the director paid homage to his father's masterpiece with the same camera roll used at the beginning of Ballad of a Soldier, which is my favorite part of that movie. I didn't see it. Then again, I did repeatedly look away from the film in disgust. Gah! -Zh.
