I am Resourceful, or Why is My Neighbour Hoarding the Communal Shovel?

We received twenty centimetres of snow last night, which made opening the front door difficult. Armed with a towel and a dust pan, I dug us out. Not all the way to the street, mind you, but no one is going to break their necks on our front steps. They very simply may not be able to reach them in order to appreciate that.
