Note to Self

Ptichka has reminded me that the incredibly condescending last sentence in the chair's e-mail to me has less to do with a lack of confidence in me and more to do with the chair's complete and utter lack of confidence in everyone, the chair included.

My mantra for dealing with the chair this year: "Sometimes it does suck to me but at least it doesn't always suck to be me." If that doesn't prevent me from wanting to commit violence, my back up "One more year! One more year!"
