Continuing with the baking theme; the lemon squares have been demolished and I'm now waiting for K. to bake a pie. If she doesn't I suppose that I'll eat all of the apples. Finally, there is some local produce at the grocery store and it is beautiful. The apples are lightly crisped and not hard and the potatoes are things of beauty. Even though I am not a particularly big fan of our friend the potato, I can aesthetically appreciate one. -Zh.
